The doctor who pulled off one of the most miraculous births in human history is now in a mess of legal trouble. Dr. Michael Kamrava, Octomom's fertility specialist, is reportedly in danger of losing his license to practice medicine after being accused of "gross negligence" by the California Medical Board. The accusation comes from Kamrava's handling of Octomom's reproductive treatment, according to RadarOnline.com.
The report says Jan. 27 will mark the verdict as to whether Kamrava's license will only be suspended or completely revoked.
Earlier this month, Radar reported that judge Daniel Juarez submitted his recommendation for review to the board after Kamrava implanted Octomom (aka Nadya Suleman) with 12 embryos, which led to her giving birth to her octuplets.
Kamrava reportedly apologized for this in a court hearing in 2010.
"At the time that I did it, I thought I did the right thing," Kamrava said at the hearing. "When I look back at it, even with all those circumstances, I was wrong."
Regardless, deputy attorney general Judith Alvarado insisted Kamrava "poses a risk to the health and welfare of the community" after the hearing.

Natalie Portman Is Still Figuring Out Her Prego Style
Once Natalie Portman made the announcement last month that she is expecting fiance Benjamin Millepied's baby, everyone went on high alert, watching for her baby bump. But Natalie has been careful about keeping her bump to herself, dressing in shapeless shifts that style experts either love or hate.
"So far, she seems to be dressing for red carpet events in slightly looser clothing, rather than accentuate her growing bump in tight dresses," says Fashionista Senior Editor Leah Chernikoff. "But Portman's far too stylish to just throw on a shapeless sack or tent dress and call it a day. She's chosen appropriately modest dresses that still show off those 'Black Swan'-trained gams and arms: a blue ruffled Jason Wu to the People's Choice Awards on the 5th and a mod-ish Vionnet with a gold sequined collar to the 2011 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala."
Celebrity stylist June Ambrose thinks that Portman is still getting used to her new body and that we might see more daring bump styles down the road.
"It seems like she still wants to keep the cat in the bag," Ambrose says. "But even the baggy look can't hide this blossoming tummy, especially with her petite frame! First time mommies are always modest. We need to give her some time to get fashionably acclimated to her new nonballerina body."
Portman should make the most of the benefits of pregnancy, one of which is an amazing head of hair. But so far the 'Black Swan' actress has been conservative with her locks as well as her belly, opting for simple buns and ponies on the red carpet.
"While few women actually experience that elusive pregnancy 'glow,' a universal truth is that hair is at its healthiest and most gorgeous during these nine months," says Jackie Cascarano, creative director of luxury hair retailer Lock & Mane. "Pregnancy hormones temporarily prevent hair from shedding, leaving you with a full head of thick and glorious locks. Natalie should revel in the nine months of great hair by pampering herself with blowouts, deep conditioning treatments and ultra feminine accessories, like headbands and bobbies."
Portman's prego style right now is perfectly fine, but we all want to see just a little more fun, especially as awards season heats up. Tack on some tighter frocks and let your hair down, Nat. What good is a famous baby bump if you don't let it have its red carpet moment?

'Hannah Montana' Coming to an End -- We Review Episodes We'd Like to Have Seen
If you hear the chokey echoes of a tortured mass sob reverberating around the world this Sunday, don't worry -- it's just the sound of tweens everywhere mourning the loss of small-screen icon 'Hannah Montana.'
After four years on TV, two movies, eight albums and an incalculable amount of glittery pink merchandise, the Disney Channel hit is ending its run.
Like many of her Disney contemporaries, the show's star, Miley Cyrus, has arguably become more famous in recent years for her behavior off-screen than for her on-camera parts, but she, too, was once a bright-eyed, buck-toothed young starlet making family-friendly fare with all of her clothes on.
So how will it end?
The New York Daily News reports that Hannah/Miley's big finale will center on her character's decision to either attend college or pursue a movie career. Only time will tell which choice she will make, but in the meantime, we review the episodes that should have made it to air.
1. "Look-Alike"
After many years spent skirting the issue, neighbors and acquaintances come clean about knowing that Miley and Hannah are the same person. "You put on a blonde wig and you expect us to forget what the rest of you looks like?" asks neighbor Mrs. Alvarez. "That stuff may have worked for Superman, but we're not idiots, Miley."
2. "Miley Gets a Cell Phone"
"Come on, let's just take a few photos, it'll be fun!" says her ex, Jake Ryan. "It's not like anybody's going to see them."
3. "Robby Ray Admits to Loving Miley More Than Jackson"
While Miley and her brother have previously debated the issue in the jocular way that siblings often do, dad Robby Ray admits Miley is the favorite when Jackson leaves the house a mess after a party. "I'm sorry, that's just the way it is," Robby tells Jackson. "She's been paying our bills since she was 14 and you're a 33-year-old who still lives at home. What did you expect?"
4. "Miley Seeks Treatment For Disturbing Dreams About Her Dead Mother"
Healthy grief takes many forms, but believing that you're talking to your long-deceased mother while caught in a time warp isn't one of them.
5. "Miley's Friends Procure Hallucinogens"
After trying some of an unknown substance obtained by her friends, Miley awakes to find her reality permanently altered. "Where's all my Hannah stuff? Where are my gold records?" she asks her father, quizzically. "Who's Hannah?" he replies.

Owen Wilson Proves Celebrity Privacy Possible
We hear a lot of whining from celebrities about how they have no privacy, how they can't lives their lives away from the cameras and a prying media and generally how it is just so hard to be them. But some celebrities do have privacy, and Owen Wilson proved this week that living your life away from the cameras is indeed possible.
We learned yesterday that Wilson is about to be a proud papa --- not nine months from now but any day. That means that Wilson has been able to keep girlfriend Jade Duell's pregnancy under wraps for the better part of a year. And it isn't like the actor has been away from the spotlight. He released two big movies in the past two months, the romantic comedy 'How Do You Know?' with Reese Witherspoon and 'Little Fockers.'
Wilson had every opportunity to share his happy news, but he opted to keep his personal life personal, proving that stars can be left alone if that's what they want.
But for most of them, it isn't what they really want.
"Celebrities only have to reveal what they want us to know. Here is yet another example of how a star can have a private life if they so choose," says 'Cult of Celebrity' author Cooper Lawrence. "This is a good lesson to remember the next time something 'leaks out' about a star and they act horrified that it did."
Lawrence explains that celebrity really is a creation of publicists, agents and managers, all of whom decide what we can and can't know about a star.
"When they sell us this image it makes us feel like we have an all-access pass to their lives and they are open to us," Lawrence says. "Thus, we get used to thinking that we know them and that we are entitled to every bit of information about them."
But we really just get what they want to give us, and Wilson didn't want to give us his girlfriend's pregnancy until it was almost over.
There's a lesson here for celebs prone to complain about their lack of privacy. Go to Hawaii and shut your trap. You'll be left alone if that's what you really want, but we don't think you do.

Film Critic Insults Award-Winning Actors, Makes Annette Bening Cry
New York Press film critic Armond White isn't exactly beloved in Hollywood -- in fact, he's quite the opposite -- and things came to a head last night during the New York Film Critics Circle Awards, with 'Black Swan' director Darren Aronofsky chastising White from the stage and a teary-eyed Annette Bening pleading for everyone to "just get along."
According to the Village Voice, things were tense from the get-go after White, chairman of the Critics Circle, brought Aronofsky onstage to present an award to his 'Swan' cinematographer, Matthew Libatique. In an obvious wink to White's negative 'Swan' review, the director said, "Keep it up, because you give us all another reason not to read New York Press."
"Aronofsky was saying this stuff with a smile," Gawker reports. "He was riffing." White, however, wasn't laughing, and took his next turn at the mic to stir the pot, saying, "That's all right. Darren reads me. That's all I want. And because he reads me, he knows the truth."
White is notorious for, well, being deliberately antagonistic. Gawker perhaps puts it best: "[White] is a very angry critic who feels very passionately about movies and tends to hate what everyone else likes and like what everyone else hates." To wit: White wrote a favorable review of Jonah Hex, last summer's 80-minute debacle currently ranked 13 percent fresh on RottenTomatoes, and he gave 'Toy Story 3,' 2010's best-reviewed film at 99 percent, one of only three negative reviews.
The atmosphere at last night's event appears to have been volatile, to say the least. "Armond broke the bank on insulting award winners he didn't agree with," an attendee told Gawker.
When 'Blue Valentine' actress Michelle Williams was presented with a prize, White introduced her by praising her performance in the 2004 film 'Land of Plenty,' leading the Oscar-nominated actress (for 'Brokeback Mountain') to say, "I made that movie almost 10 years ago. I can't imagine what you've said about me since then if you had to go back that far to say something nice."
Later, when White brought 'Angels in America' playwright Tony Kushner to the stage to award director David Fincher's universally acclaimed 'The Social Network' with the Best Picture prize, he said, "Maybe he can explain why it won best picture."
White also made sure to thank his peers for not awarding any honors to director Noah Baumbach's well-reviewed indie hit 'Greenberg.' Baumbach's continued success has long been a thorn in the critic's side; in his review of Baumbach's 1997 film 'Mr. Jealousy,' White said the director's mother should have had a "retroactive abortion." How tasteful and professional of him.
The tone of the evening, however, was apparently set in stone when Annette Bening took to the stage to accept the Best Actress prize for her turn in 'The Kids Are Alright.' "Bening, tearfully, came close to lecturing critics for being mean little s**ts," an attendee told Gawker, while another reported, "She said something like, 'Can't we all just get along?'"

Arianna Huffington ,Removed ,Plane, After ,BlackBerry, Feud
When airline authorities first made the rule to turn off your cell phones before takeoff, they clearly didn't take into account the impending era of "the CrackBerry." The New York Post reports that Huffington Post founder and media titan Arianna Huffington wasn't quite ready to put her BlackBerry phone down during takeoff for her short flight from Washington, D.C., to NYC over the weekend, prompting a jabber match with a nearby passenger and an escorted removal by security after landing.
"She wouldn't turn off her BlackBerry, even when we pushed back from the gate," one passenger told Valleywag."We took off, and it became apparent that the phone was still on, which very much upset her neighbor."
After the passenger, Ellis Bellodof, 53, repeatedly asked Huffington, 60, to turn her phone off at around 10PM, the two caused a disturbance and were removed from the plane for questioning after landing in New York's LaGuardia Airport. Both were released without charges.
After the incident blew over, Huffington's publicist could only make jokes about the matter.
"There was a passenger who seemed upset. Arianna thought he didn't like the snacks. Guess not. Maybe he was an iPhone fan. As you know, the battle between iPhone lovers and BlackBerry users can get pretty heated," Huffington's rep Mario Ruiz told the Post.

Sherri Shepherd Shows Off Her Engagement Ring
The new view for comedian Sherri Shepherd is a flash of blinding bling.
The co-host of ABC's chat fest 'The View' returned from a holiday break to show off a ring finger featuring a 3-carat princess-cut diamond-and-platinum engagement ring from her new fiance, Los Angeles-based television writer Lamar Sally.
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg opened 'The View' yesterday morning with a shout-out to her beaming colleague, who was greeted with cheers from the studio audience and her cast mates, including Barbara Walters, as Shepherd raised her hand, and a screen behind the panel flashed a close-up of her shiny new Christmas gift.
Jewelry and style expert Michael O'Connor tells StyleList he's not surprised Shepherd was happy to show off the ring.
"The diamond cut is classic, but the pavé stones on the side make it modern and stylish," he says. "Since the diamonds were set in platinum, Sherri doesn't need to worry about them falling out." O'Connor put the price of the ring at approximately $70,000.

The couple, dating for about a year, were engaged with the nonchalant blessing of Jeffrey, Shepherd's 5-year-old son from a previous marriage, who was apparently more impressed with his own gift from Sally: a game.
Shepherd described the on-bended-knee proposal that followed: "And he said to Jeffrey, 'Can I marry your mom?' And Jeffrey's like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, can I play with my game?' And he got on one knee and said, 'Mrs. Shepherd, would you be my wife?' And I said, 'Yeah.'"
Shepherd and Sally were introduced by mutual friend Niecy Nash, the comedian, host and former 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant.
Shepherd, who applauded and blew kisses at a picture shared with the audience of her with her fiance, thanked her co-hosts, who had advised her to keep the relationship low-key in its early stages.
"I told you last year, I met somebody at a party. But over the year, we were dating quietly because you guys were saying, 'Keep it quiet. Put some strength under your relationship.'"
Sally's writing credits include television shows such as 'The Nanny' and 'Rodney.' Co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck said of the future groom, "He's a good man." Shepherd did not announce a wedding date.

Leighton Meester Perplexed by Blair Waldorf Wannabes
Leighton Meester has declared her intention to leave 'Gossip Girl' after two more years, but she admits she has grown fond of her character, New York socialite Blair Waldorf, despite having totally dissimilar backgrounds.
"I work on a show every day where I feel literally, maybe .1 percent in common with the character," she tells PopEater. "You have to somehow find common ground; otherwise you hate them. The character I play on 'Gossip Girl' is incredibly manipulative and conniving and, you know, this heightened personality in this weird universe that doesn't even really exist."
Meester says that in spite of all this, she finds Blair's "vulnerable side to be pleasant and fun to portray."
The actress expresses surprise that her 'Gossip' character has spawned a legion of wannabes.
"I don't see why," she says. "It seems like it would be really difficult, even just the clothes, the different bag every day."
Meester also found it hard to relate to the flat-out psychotic character she plays in the upcoming college dorm thriller 'The Roommate,' co-starring Minka Kelly.
"None of her decisions are based on some rational view of anything. ... She's just off the deep end," she says.
Meester admits she went through a few mind-altering days on the set and worried that her friends would be disturbed to see her as an obsessive, dangerous co-ed.
"I really did like the script, and I liked the character and then you get into rehearsals, and you're like 'OK, this is going to be ...' My friends aren't going to like me anymore, you know. It's kind of like the flu; you have it, and eventually it goes away, but it definitely touches you for a bit."

Michael Douglas Tells Matt Lauer He's Got Cancer 'Beat' (Video)
Academy Award-winning actor Michael Douglas gave his first televised interview since being diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer to Matt Lauer this morning on the 'Today' show and revealed that he is in complete remission, saying, "The odds are, with the tumor gone and what I know about this particular type of cancer, I've got it beat."
The 'Wall Street' star did acknowledge that even though "the tumor is gone," he continues to be monitored closely by doctors. Asked by Lauer how he was feeling, Douglas responded, "I feel good, relieved. ... I have to get checked out on a monthly basis now to maintain. I guess there's not a total euphoria. I'll probably take a couple of months of getting checked out. But it's been a wild six-month ride." Watch Lauer's interview with Douglas after the jump.
Discussing the support he received from friends and family, Douglas told Lauer: "There's a new depth. You know, maybe it has to do because of everything life threatening. So all of a sudden the affection from my family, from my friends, and from my fans hit me at a much deeper level than I would have ever imagined before."
The star says he was always honest about his illness with his young children -- Dillon, 10, and Carys, 7 -- and with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. "I told them about the cancer, you know, right from the beginning because I was going to be in- and out-patient," Douglas said. "But I told them it was hopeful. And I also took them down to a couple of radiation treatments. So they came into the room and they saw all the 'Star Wars' treatment going around."
Of his children and Zeta-Jones, Douglas added: "We've had a big celebration these last couple of days when I found out the tumor's gone."
Douglas also addressed the alarm photos of him looking frail caused late last year, opining that the pictures were a likely catalyst for his 94-year-old father's presence during his recovery. "My father, Kirk, he came back to New York. ... He came back for ten days and came up to the apartment every day to see me because I think that some of these photographs and, you know, who knows if they're touched up," Douglas told Lauer. "I was gaunt, you know? So I think he was even concerned. And, yeah, it was not a lot of fun. It's still not. They're there every day."
He lamented the paparazzi who trailed him during his illness, particularly the impact the photogs had on his children. "I resent the amount of imposition on our children, because it used to be at least they would try to keep them out of that, and they don't at all," Douglas said. "They were having ... there was sort of a macabre enjoyment out of sort of watching me go down there for a while, I felt, by the paparazzi."
Asked how cancer has changed his life, the actor said, "It's put a timeline on my life. I'm 66 now. You know, I'm fortunate. ... It's definitely a third act. And so you're a little more conscious of your time in how you choose to spend it."
"It gave me a really new appreciation of just how valuable, how precious good friends are and family," said the 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' star. "And it's not that I disregarded them before but there's a much deeper feeling. And I've talked to other cancer survivors about this, that -- that happens, that you just really, really appreciate what's important in life."
The actor is now focused squarely on his recovery and getting back to work. Douglas told Lauer that he lost 32 pounds during his cancer treatment and that he is now "eating like a pig" to regain the weight. Since completing chemotherapy and radiation treatment, the actor has already regained 12 lbs. and is working out as much as he can. "They want to keep the cardio down because they want me to put some more weight on. I lost a lot of muscle mass, so I'm going to work on that. I'm going to get my fingers ready for 'Liberace.'"
The actor is referring to director Steven Soderbergh's 'Liberace,' a biopic of the famed entertainer, which he is set to begin shooting in May or June. Before his cancer diagnosis, Douglas completed production on Soderbergh's next project, the action-thriller 'Haywire' (due in April).
Douglas' 'Today' interview is only the first half of his extended conversation with Lauer. The second part of Douglas' sit-down will air during the Jan. 23 edition of 'Dateline NBC.'

Colin Farrell Suiting Up For 'Total Recall' Remake
Hollywood bad boy Colin Farrell is gearing up to fill some pretty big shoes -- Arnold Schwarzenegger's, to be precise.
The Irish actor is scheduled to take over the muscleman's iconic role as secret agent Hauser in a remake of the '90s classic 'Total Recall,' the NY Post reports.
The plot of the remake will be more faithful to that of the Philip K. Dick story, 'We Can Remember It for You Wholesale,' on which the original film was based. But fans can still look forward to plenty of sci-fi slickness from 'Underworld' director Len Wiseman.
Columbia Pictures has hired 'Salt' screenwriter Kurt Wimmer to head writing efforts on the reboot.
While the futuristic subject matter will be maintained, producer Neil Moritz assures fans that they will be able to enjoy the film without too much eye-popping action. "We're not gonna do 'Recall' in 3-D, we decided that it would be too much."
Despite the over-the-top nature of the original (we'll miss you, three-breasted hooker), fans can expect to see a slightly more realistic update.
"We don't go to space," says producer Neal Moritz. Although, of the film's scope, he insists, "Yes, this is a big movie."

Jewel and Husband Ty Murray Are Having a Baby
It looks like there's a baby boom in Hollywood these days. As the latest celeb to announce a pregnancy, Jewel posted on her blog Tuesday that she is expecting a baby with husband Ty Murray.
Currently in her second trimester, the singer and Murray decided finally to make the big announcement.
"We're so excited to be expecting our first baby," Murray told PEOPLE. "We always knew we wanted to have a child, and this time in our lives feels right."
Jewel was on the set of her upcoming Bravo show, 'Going Platinum,' when she found out about her pregnancy.
"I took a pregnancy test, and it was positive!" said the singer. "It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set, and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'"
The singer, who released a children's album in 2009 and is currently working on a second, will put her vocal talents to good use once the baby arrives. Until then she's taking it day by day, and making room for a nursery in their 2,200-acre Texas ranch.
"I'm trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy," she said. "I feel really lucky."
Jewel's big news is the latest in celebrity baby announcements, joining Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Victoria Beckham, Jane Krakowski and Natalie Portman with upcoming bundles of joy.

Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried's Rumored Romance Heats Up
It looks like Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried are still enjoying each other's company.
Phillippe recently stopped by the LA set of Seyfried's latest film, 'Now,' for a visit with the actress, who greeted him with a hug, according to the Daily Mail. The two grabbed some food on set before going for a walk together.
The next day, the pair enjoyed breakfast with friends at Joan's on Third, where the couple "was really cute," an onlooker told the magazine. "The two of them smiled the whole time."
Though the couple have not confirmed their relationship, they have been quietly dating since being introduced by friends at Kate Hudson's Halloween party last fall.
"They're really into each other," a source told PEOPLE. "They're a really good match and just enjoying it all right now."
Phillippe's rumored romance comes on the heels of ex-wife Reese Witherspoon's engagement to Hollywood agent Jim Toth. Phillippe and Witherspoon were married for seven years and divorced in 2006. They have two children together.

Lindsay Lohan Befriends 'Inception' Star Tom Hardy
Lindsay Lohan, who recently finished a stint in rehab, is on the lookout for sober friends and may have found one in 'Inception' star Tom Hardy.
The pair, who were introduced by mutual friends, have been talking and recently grabbed dinner together, according to TMZ, but it's not what it seems.
Hardy, who is engaged to actress Charlotte Riley, is no stranger to battling addiction -- something to which Lohan can certainly relate. The British actor addressed his addiction early in his career and has been sober since 2003.
While the duo have been spending some sober time together, Hardy's publicist insists that he is not Lohan's sponsor.
Hardy isn't the only friend Lohan has been hanging out with. She recently caught a Lakers-Knicks game in LA with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad and had dinner with Samantha Ronson.
Perhaps Lohan will take some tips from some of these new friendships and put her legal troubles behind her once and for all.

Greenway Guides England to Victory
England bounced back from the disappointment of losing the one-day series with a four-wicket victory in the opening Twenty20 international as Lydia Greenway guided them home 10 balls to spare at Adelaide. Greenway gained important support from Suzie Rowe and despite a flurry of wickets in the closing overs England had enough in the tank.
Greenway, a vital source of experience in the absence of Claire and Sarah Taylor, added 43 for the fourth wicket with Rowe after Australia had made inroads, but the home side fought back and when Fran Wilson was bowled by Sarah Coyte they still had a chance. However, Greenway was gifted another boundary when Lisa Sthalekar misfielded at cover and the victory came with four wides down the leg side.
Ellyse Perry was taken for 13 off the opening over with Charlotte Edwards (16) collecting boundaries off the first two balls of the innings. England were well ahead of the required rate when Edwards gave her innings away by reverse sweeping to cover.
Laura Marsh scored at a run-a-ball before falling to Lisa Sthalekar's first delivery and Danielle Wyatt (16) was well stumped by Alysaa Healy to leave England 3 for 59 in the ninth over. The chase was being throttled, but England found crucial momentum when firstly Greenway and then Rowe struck sixes over the leg side. Suddenly the required rate was back to a run-a-ball and England resorted to tip-and-run batting.
Australia didn't give up, though, and Perry returned to have Rowe lbw and Coyte struck twice in the 17th over including a fine yorker to remove Wilson for a duck but Greenway remained cool until the end.
England made a poor start in the field with two early dropped chances, but pulled their performance around with a strong emphasis on spin. Isha Guha was the only pace bowler used during the innings as the visitors tried to take the pace off the ball.
Holly Colvin, the left-arm spinner, removed Shelley Nitschke (17) with Greenway taking a fine catch in the deep then Colvin held onto a sharp caught-and-bowled when Leah Poulton (26) chipped a full toss straight back to her.
At 3 for 63 the innings was stuttering before the experienced pair of captain Alex Blackwell and Sthalekar produced an important partnership of 58 in eight overs. Both players found the boundary twice and ran hard between the wickets, but in the end Australia made too many mistakes in the field.

Freak Run-Out Sparks Drama Amid the Dullness
It was a day that crawled along, and then plodded on, but in between, the freak run-out of Rajasthan opener Vineet Saxena provided some drama amid the dullness. Saxena mistimed a drive off the first delivery after lunch, and the ball rolled away to the leg side. Bhargav Bhatt from midwicket ran in to field the ball. Meanwhile, Saxena, who was outside his ground, took two steps back in to the crease, and then strode out to do some gardening on the pitch. When he was about two feet outside the crease, he gestured in the direction of square-leg umpire K Hariharan, asking for his permission to step out of his ground.
An alert Pinal Shah, the Baroda wicketkeeper-captain, sensed an opportunity and gestured frantically to Bhatt. Bhatt, who was standing beside the ball, suddenly swung into action and threw down the striker's stumps with a direct hit, with Saxena miles down the track. Even as Baroda went up in appeal, Saxena looked confused, and Hariharan walked up to umpire Shavir Tarapore. After some discussion, the matter was referred to third umpire SS Shamsuddin, who ruled Saxena out.
Now the rule says that a batsman is run-out if he is found out of his ground while the ball is still in play, whether or not a run is being attempted. A ball is in play till it settles in the hands of the wicketkeeper or the bowler. In this case, the umpires felt that the ball was in play, and the referral was made to check at what point the batsman sought permission to step outside his ground. Replays clearly showed that Saxena was well outside when he gestured to Hariharan, and was adjudged out.
There were conflicting opinions among the teams and former players about the entire incident. Pinal felt he was within his rights to claim the run-out. "It was not a planned move. The ball was in play. He just walked out, and did not ask for permission before doing so. Generally if you are walking out, you just inform the umpire or the keeper or the slip fielder."
Hrishikesh Kanitkar, the Rajasthan captain, was understandably unimpressed. "I have heard it was within the rules, but I wouldn't have claimed that wicket; that is for sure." Pinal felt that Kanitkar's reaction was to be expected. "If I was in the opposition, and my batsman would have got out, even I would have said the same thing. But I thought he (Saxena) made a mistake by walking out."

Tulsa Looks to Replace Todd Graham
Todd Graham led Tulsa's football program to one of the most successful stretches in school history and a finish in the Top 25 this season for the first time since 1991.
Now, athletic director Bubba Cunningham must find the right person to build upon that success after Graham departed to become the new coach at Pittsburgh.
Graham was 36-17 in four seasons in charge of the Golden Hurricane, including a school-record 11 wins two seasons ago. This year, Tulsa won its final seven games to finish at 10-3 and earn the No. 24 spot in the final Associated Press poll.
"We're a far better place than we were four years ago when he arrived," Cunningham said after Graham announced his departure late Monday.
Cunningham needed only three days to fill the Golden Hurricane's coaching vacancy when he hired Graham four years ago to replace Steve Kragthorpe. He joked that he didn't think it would take even that long to replace Graham, but said in all seriousness that the search shouldn't take long.
"We do things rather quickly, and I would think that that's probably going to be the same case this time," Cunningham said.
Graham had been the defensive coordinator under Kragthorpe, then spent one season as Rice's head coach before returning to Tulsa when his former boss left. This time, Graham is taking many of his top assistants with him.
Graham announced Tuesday that co-defensive coordinators Paul Randolph and Keith Patterson, along with passing game coordinator Mike Norvell, would all be on his staff at Pittsburgh. Chad Morris, the first-year offensive coordinator who helped Tulsa reclaim its spot among the nation's top offenses, has left for a similar job at Clemson although he conceivably could be brought back if Cunningham desired the same kind of continuity as in his last hire.
Cunningham talked this time about an "institutional continuity" that he's trying to create at Tulsa that doesn't necessarily revolve around individual coaches.
"What we're looking for is the best fit right now. That's probably the simplest way for me to sum it up," Cunningham said. "There probably isn't a whole list of criteria I could give you that would give you a better picture of what that looks like, but hopefully we'll identify those characteristics and make that selection."
Kragthorpe could even be in the mix. He has returned to the Tulsa area after a failed stint at Louisville. He initially got the program turned around, taking a team that had back-to-back one-win seasons and going 29-22 in four years.
"Steve did a terrific job. I'm not going to obviously speculate on any candidates or any talk about that," Cunningham said. "I think there's a lot of interest in the job. We've been very successful."
Graham's .679 winning percentage is the second-best among coaches in charge of Tulsa for at least 50 games. Only Henry Frnka, who guided the program to an Orange Bowl win and two Sugar Bowl appearances, had a better mark.
Cunningham said he had anticipated Graham's departure and quickly retained a search firm. He and university president Steadman Upham will choose the next coach.
"Thirty-six wins in four years, that's a pretty high bar to set, but we think we can exceed it," Cunningham said. "That's what the university's been built on -- trying to get better all the time. We'll continue to do it."
The success in recent years has spurred the creation of a new locker room complex with coaches offices and a handful of suites at the north end of the football stadium. A new press box also was built, with another set of luxury suites, during a flurry of construction on campus.
"The profile of the university, the profile of the football program, the campus facilities themselves, I think there's a lot of momentum right now for the university," Cunningham said, "and we need to capitalize on that with the football program."

Family of Pace Player Plans $120M Suit
The parents of a college football player who was shot dead in his car by police announced Tuesday that they plan a $120 million lawsuit against the suburban towns whose officers were involved.
They also have decided to cooperate with the grand jury investigating the case.
Family lawyer Michael Sussman said the lawsuit over the death of Danroy Henry Jr. would probably be filed in federal court this spring against the town of Mount Pleasant and the village of Pleasantville, just north of New York City. A notice of claim, required before suing, was filed Tuesday in each jurisdiction, he said.
Telephone calls to Pleasantville Administrator Patti Dwyer and Mount Pleasant Supervisor Joan Maybury were not immediately returned Tuesday.
Henry, a 20-year-old Pace University student, was killed Oct. 17 after officers fired at his car as he drove through the parking lot of a shopping center in the New York City suburb Thornwood, near the Pace campus. Police had been called to a disturbance that spilled out of a bar in the shopping center.
Witness accounts of the shooting have differed sharply, and a Westchester County grand jury is investigating. Police have said that Henry sped away and hit Pleasantville Officer Aaron Hess, who has acknowledged shooting at Henry through Henry's windshield. A Mount Pleasant officer also fired at the car.
Sussman has alleged that Hess committed murder, but Hess' lawyer said he was thrown onto the hood of the car by the impact and had no alternative but to shoot.
Autopsy results revealed that Henry had a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit for driving. Sussman has disputed that finding.
The notice of claim alleges that the municipalities were negligent in hiring and training officers and the officers were negligent in their use of deadly force.
Amateur video of the aftermath of the shooting reveals "absolute mayhem," Sussman said. There was "an obvious lack of supervision ... that relates to a lack of training," he said.
The $120 million figure in the notice of claim, he said, reflects "the family's valuation to the extent they can give any monetary valuation" of their son's worth.
Henry's father, Danroy Henry, has been asked to testify before the grand jury and has agreed, Sussman said.
"He has things to say" about his son's nature and character, the lawyer said.
Sussman said he and other lawyers in the case met last month with then-Gov. David Paterson to seek a special prosecutor. But the governor felt the Westchester County grand jury investigation would be "a serious enough pursuit of justice," Sussman said.
Sussman has said he doubts the ability of the Westchester district attorney's office to impartially lead the investigation. But on Tuesday he encouraged "all people with knowledge of the situation" to cooperate with the grand jury.

Tom Thibodeau: Derrick Rose 'MVP Guy'
Tom Thibodeau respected Derrick Rose's ability when Thibodeau was an assistant coach with the Boston Celtics. But now that he gets to watch Rose play every day as coach of the Chicago Bulls, that admiration has gone to a new level -- just like his point guard's game.
"He's having an MVP season, but he's an MVP guy," Thibodeau said Tuesday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I think his leadership has been tremendous. Not only him but along with Carlos [Boozer] and Joakim [Noah] and Luol [Deng]. Your best players have to help lead your team, and all four of those guys have done that all season."
But there hasn't been much consistency with the health of Boozer and Noah. The duo has missed a combined 27 games. Boozer, signed to a five-year deal over the summer as a free agent, missed the first 15 games after breaking his hand at the start of training camp. Noah has missed the past 12 games after having hand surgery and is expected back in March.
Yet the Bulls have still managed winning records during their stints without Boozer (9-6) and Noah (8-4) and, at 25-12, are third in the Eastern Conference.
Rose, averaging 24.3 points and 8.1 assists, has been the constant, playing all but one game in his third season.
"The things that he is doing out on the court are amazing," Thibodeau said. "I think when you look at his skill set, the way he combines his athleticism, his speed, quickness, strength and now you add to it his shooting. The biggest thing is defensively he's made huge strides all season long. Just the way he's running the team; he's playing a complete game. He's doing so many things that help you win."
Thibodeau credits Rose's desire to improve as key to his development.
"I think it's his drive. He is never satisfied," Thibodeau said. "He's always trying to get better at a number of different things. And he's so humble. It's just the way he's led our team. I think when you look at all those things, he's made everyone better. I think he's reading defenses great, and he's seen a lot of different defenses.
"Teams now are trapping him, they're blitzing his pick and rolls, they're coming early to get the ball out of his hands, and he's making the right reads. He realizes when it's a loose trap and he can split it. He also knows how to make a team pay. He's making skip passes cross court. He's created easy offense for us."
Boozer and Rose have adapted to each other quickly. Boozer, averaging 20.6 points and 10.1 rebounds a game, has given the Bulls the reliable low-post scorer they lacked for years. And his coach marvels at how quickly Boozer has established himself after missing so much time early in his Bulls career.
"He's been tremendous," Thibodeau said. "When you look at the things that he's done offensively -- to miss most of training camp and then the first month of the season -- and to be playing at the level he is playing at so soon, it says a lot about his ability and also his commitment. When he was out he did a ton of conditioning to come back quickly. You put him in a pick and roll with Derrick, it's tough when you have two players with the skill set that those two possess to really defend that."
The Boozer-Thibodeau relationship appeared rocky when the coach benched Boozer for the final 13 minutes, 21 seconds of a 96-94 loss to the New Jersey Nets on Jan. 5.
Thibodeau shot down speculation that he wasn't happy with Boozer's effort on defense.
"The thing about that game, it wasn't a benching of Carlos," Thibodeau said. "We were struggling. We were down 13 going into the fourth quarter. We were low energy the whole game. [The Nets] went small and the group that went out there erased the 13-point lead quickly so our bench gave us great energy. We had some matchup concerns. With Carlos, he's all about winning. Most of the time he's going to be out there for most of the fourth quarter. He knows that."

Chris Simms Loses Bid in Pot Case
Tennessee Titans backup quarterback Chris Simms can't keep the admissions police say he made about smoking marijuana from being used in his drugged-driving case, a judge ruled Tuesday.
Simms' statements were obtained legally, and police were justified in stopping and arresting him early on July 1, Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon ruled.
Simms, a son of former New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms, and his lawyers were excused from a court appearance Tuesday. The lawyers didn't immediately return phone calls afterward.
Police said Chris Simms was stopped for making an erratic turn near a police sobriety checkpoint in a nightlife-oriented part of Manhattan around 1 a.m., with his pregnant wife and two other people with him.
An officer approaching Simms' Mercedes-Benz was confronted with a marijuana smell so strong the officer got a headache and his tongue went numb, and he found Simms behind the wheel in a "zombie"-like state, the officer testified at an October hearing.
Simms told the officer he'd been "smoking marijuana in the car earlier," taking four puffs, but there wasn't any left, according to a court document. He remained "very out of it" after his arrest, falling asleep on a police station holding-cell floor and having to be roused by a fellow detainee to take an alcohol-level test, according to the officer's testimony.
Simms, however, told The Tennessean newspaper in August he "definitely didn't say" he had been smoking marijuana. He wasn't tested for drugs, and alcohol tests came back negative.
His lawyers challenged the legality of the checkpoint and the basis for his arrest, among other arguments. The judge ruled against all of them and noted the officer's description of Simms' woozy condition.
"There is no question that [the officer] had probably cause to arrest defendant, given these observations," Solomon wrote.
Simms, 30, has pleaded not guilty to driving while impaired. The top charge against him is a misdemeanor that carries the potential for a year in jail if he's convicted.
He's due back in court Jan. 21. He got a last-minute pass on Tuesday's court date because his lead lawyer had trouble traveling from Denver, Colo., in the wake of a weekend snowstorm there.
Simms has a 7-9 record in his 16 NFL career starts. A third-round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2003, he ruptured his spleen in a 2006 game against the Carolina Panthers and had to undergo emergency surgery.
After Tampa Bay released him, he went to Tennessee in 2008, played for the Denver Broncos in 2009 as an unrestricted free agent and then returned to the Titans. The Titans released him in September but then re-signed him in November. He didn't play in any games this season.
Simms' father played 14 seasons with the Giants, leading them to two Super Bowls. He is now a CBS Sports announcer and analyst.

This Time, Seahawks Face Lance Briggs
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck expects Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game against the Chicago Bears to kick up to "a whole other level" from the first matchup between the teams for one specific reason, outside of the one-and-done circumstances created by postseason play.
"For us to sit back and say, 'Oh, hey, we beat them at their place. We can do it again,' that would be a dangerous way to feel because [linebacker] Lance Briggs did not play in that [first] game," Hasselbeck said.
The Seahawks defeated a Briggs-less Bears team in Week 6 at Soldier Field behind a combined 110-yard rushing effort and two touchdowns from Justin Forsett and Marshawn Lynch, and Hasselbeck throwing for 242 yards and another score.
A Pro Bowler, Briggs suffered a left ankle sprain at Carolina a week prior to the matchup with the Seahawks that forced him to miss the Week 6 showdown. Brian Iwuh filled in for Briggs and led the Bears with a team-high 12 tackles.
But Hasselbeck refused to downplay the significance of Briggs' absence in the first meeting between the teams.
"Going into that game, we fully expected him to play," Hasselbeck said. "He didn't play, and that was a big deal. He's huge. I think he's arguably one of the best defensive players in the game. He is a big, big-time difference maker and a great football player. So as hard as this game is going to be, the fact that he's back takes it up to a whole other level."
The team's second-leading tackler (121 stops), Briggs is one of the catalysts for a unit that has held eight opponents to 85 yards rushing or fewer this season, which is an accomplishment considering only five teams (Pittsburgh Steelers, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants) have done it this season.
Surely Hasselbeck is also aware that the defense ranks third in opponent passer rating, despite facing eight quarterbacks (Tony Romo, Aaron Rodgers twice, Eli Manning, Hasselbeck, Donovan McNabb, Brett Favre twice, Michael Vick and Tom Brady) who have been named to the Pro Bowl at least once in 10 contests.
One of five linebackers since 2003 to generate 10 or more interceptions and 10 or more forced fumbles, Briggs is set to start in his fifth playoff game.

Browns Interview Perry Fewell
Perry Fewell's first shot as an NFL coach was temporary. He'd like to make his next one a little more permanent.
Fewell, the New York Giants defensive coordinator who served as Buffalo's interim coach for seven games last season, interviewed on Tuesday with the Cleveland Browns, the third known candidate to formally meet with team president Mike Holmgren.
Fewell followed St. Louis offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and Atlanta offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey, who met with the Browns last week. It's not yet known if the club has scheduled any more interviews or follow-ups. It's also unclear if owner Randy Lerner has had any role in the process.
However, Cleveland's search to replace Eric Mangini does seem to be narrowing.
The Browns, who have kept their pursuit of a new coach cloaked in secrecy, were expected to speak with Philadelphia offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg because of his personal and professional connections with Holmgren. However, that meeting has not been set up.
Also, former NFL coach and current ESPN analyst Jon Gruden appears to be out of the Browns' mix.
Following Monday night's BCS title game, Gruden said on a radio broadcast that he will not coach in 2011. Gruden grew up in Ohio rooting for the Browns, and it was assumed he would be contacted by Holmgren, who gave Gruden his start in the NFL as an assistant in San Francisco.
Gruden was asked by announcer Mike Tirico if he would get back into coaching.
"No," Gruden said. "I'll be back with you."
On Monday, a network spokesman told The Associated Press that Gruden "remains committed to ESPN and to Monday Night Football."
Former Carolina coach John Fox may still be on Holmgren's list, but he'll interview on Wednesday with Denver.
The only definitive coaching news related to the Browns was that wide receivers coach George McDonald has left Cleveland for the same position with the University of Miami. Holmgren has not yet met with the rest of Mangini's staff still under contract.
Fewell, 48, came to Cleveland hoping to convince Holmgren that he's the best candidate to take over a franchise that has had eight double-digit loss seasons and one playoff appearance since 1999. Fewell also interviewed with Denver and Carolina.
The high-energy Fewell is popular with Giants players, who appreciate the way he allows them to think independently on the field. He urged them to take advantage of any opportunities and they did as New York led the league with 39 takeaways this season.
Fewell's visit means the Browns have complied with the NFL's Rooney Rule requirement that they interview at least one minority candidate.
Holmgren would prefer to hire a more offensive-minded coach than Mangini, whose run-heavy philosophy and questionable in-game decisions led to his firing after two 5-11 seasons.

Todd Haley Might call Chiefs' Plays
Chiefs coach Todd Haley could wind up calling plays next year.
Haley said Tuesday he intends to hire a replacement for offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, who is leaving to take a similar position at Florida. But Haley also indicated he might take a bigger role in calling plays, which he did in 2009 when he fired offensive coordinator Chan Gailey shortly before the season opener and assumed the position himself. Haley was a successful offensive coordinator at Arizona, helping the Cardinals get to the Super Bowl before he took over in Kansas City in 2009.
Asked Tuesday if he would consider calling plays next year, Haley said, "I'll consider anything."
"But it's going to be a very thorough evaluation of the entire system," he added.
Weis, a three-time Super Bowl winner at New England and former head coach at Notre Dame, was part of a franchise-record six-game improvement in 2010. The Chiefs went from 4-12 in 2009 to 10-6 and won their first AFC West title since 2003.
In training camp, Weis said his main goal was "to fix what's wrong with the quarterback," and Matt Cassel made a huge leap. After throwing 16 touchdown passes and 16 interceptions the year before, Cassel finished the regular season with 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
The Chiefs of 2010 also put running back Jamaal Charles and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe into the Pro Bowl before ending their season with a 30-7 loss to Baltimore in the first round of the playoffs Sunday.
"We had a real good coordinator here in Charlie who has moved on to Florida and we have to make sure that we continue to develop our coaches and have good coaches on the staff," Haley said. "That's a critical part of being a successful team year in and year out and reaching our goals, which is to be a championship team."
A number of possible replacements for Weis have drawn mention, including Josh McDaniels, who was fired before the end of the season as head coach in Denver. But the two have had a stormy relationship, to put it mildly. In what proved an embarrassing moment for Haley, he refused to shake McDaniels' hand immediately after a blowout loss in Denver on Nov. 14. He apologized the next day to fans and to McDaniels but conceded that he had not called McDaniels personally.
Another possibility may be Nick Sirianni, the Chiefs' young quality control coach on offense. Sirianni would seem like a long shot because he has only two years in the NFL. But Haley has spoken highly of him in the past and given him much credit for taking a big hand in Cassel's improvement.
"I would not discount anything right now," Haley said. "What I'm going to be interested in is getting it right. I feel like last year I got it right. We were able to continue to make big progress in building the identity of this team and on top of that having some success to boot. We didn't accomplish all of our goals. But I feel like we got it right and my staff, our staff, continues to grow and develop. You need to be developing coaches also. We'll get it right."
The ultimate decision will be his, Haley said.
Whoever gets hired will be Haley's third offensive coordinator in three years. He said he's not concerned about a perception he's not an easy head coach for an offensive coordinator to work for.
"It's not something I've thought about or considered," Haley said. "I'm going to continue doing the things that I know as the head coach have got this ship going in the right direction and moving at a pretty good clip."
Haley disputed a report on Kansas City sports talk radio station KCSP that he relieved Weis of play-calling responsibilities in the second half of Sunday's loss to Baltimore.
"Absolutely not true," he said.

The 2011 ‘American Idol’ Judges Swing By The ‘Tonight Show’
Following this week’s splashy Entertainment Weekly cover story, Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez—aka the Season 10 American Idol judges—were joined by AI host Ryan Seacrest on the Tonight Show last night, where, among other things, it was revealed that Aerosmith frontman Tyler had never seen Fox’s reality TV music competition before accepting the new gig. His excuse: “I’m on tour!” Watch the judges sitdown with Jay Leno after the jump.
Jennifer Lopez explained her hesitancy to fill in one of the newly-vacant seats at the judging table. “For me it was like, I wasn’t sure at first,” J.Lo admitted. “I was like, I don’t know—I have a record coming out this year. I have things things happening… I heard how much of a diva Ryan was and I was like, ugggggggh.”
Ryan responded, “I thought, thank God somebody’s coming onto the show that takes longer to get ready than me.”
Later in the interview, Randy discussed the talent they met with while traveling the country looking for contestants—and the possible effect the Justin Biebers and Greyson Chances of the world have had on the business.
“We dropped the age one year to 15 now. It’s 15 to 28,” Jackson said. “And I’m telling you, some amazing, talented young kids showed up.” (Doesn’t he say this every year?)
Steven Tyler went on to explain that he and the rest of his Aerosmith bandmates will be meeting up at the end of this month to begin recording a new album before heading out on tour this coming November and December.

Right Down the Line: R.I.P. Gerry Rafferty
A considerable component of what made the ‘70s so awesome has, sadly, left the building we call Earth. And so it is on the unfortunate occasion of Gerry Rafferty’s premature passing that I’m compelled to talk about myself. Bear with me, this sentiment is not as inappropriate or solipsistic as it sounds; in fact, it is arguably the highest form of praise. In other words, I am incapable of talking about Rafferty without discussing how large his music loome—and looms—in my own life. I suspect I’m not alone here.
Anyone who drew breath in 1978 knew Gerry Rafferty (if you didn’t you were too young; if you still don’t it’s never too late).
That song isn’t simply an ineradicable part of the ‘70s; it is the ‘70s. It is possibly the best song of the decade. It is probably one of the best songs ever. It is a perfect song. Or, if we can call any one song as perfect as music is capable of being, “Baker Street” is part of that discussion, period. Even though it has an irrepressible push and pull (that sax! that flute!) that culminates in one of the sublime (and relatively succinct) guitar solos in rock history, there is such a subtle sense of melancholy that it stays inside you, even if you are only eight years old. As you get older, perhaps you begin to listen to (much less understand) the lyrics and slowly realize it captures the themes of innocence, loss and redemption, all in about six minutes. Songwriters (and poets, and novelists) are willing to sacrifice vital organs to compose something this enduring and indelible. The note of hope cut with the wizened (but not cynical) eyes of experience enable this song to function almost as a parable of themes that any sentient being struggles with on occasion: nostalgia, regret, expectation, uncertainty. And above all, the question of whether you can—or should—go home again, if only in the figurative sense.
If “Baker Street” was all Rafferty ever did, his legacy would be more than secure and the gratitude of this generation (and subsequent ones, no doubt) would be substantial. Of course, he did more. Much more.
Naturally, Rafferty would be remembered even if there had never been a “Baker Street”, since his early hit “Stuck in the Middle with You” (with Stealers Wheel) became part of the regular rotation on classic rock radio in the ‘80s. Then, in the ‘90s, it was immortalized in the infamous “ear” scene in Quentin Tarantino’s film Reservoir Dogs.
And then, impossibly, there may be the song that is best of all, “Right Down the Line”. Also from City to City (an excellent album, well worth acquiring), this is a love song you can believe in. I’m not even certain exactly what I mean by that, but it is definitely not the typical love song that is shorthand for expressing intimacy, like a Hallmark card. This is one of those tunes that actually is capable of conveying the sorts of things you’d like to tell someone special, and since you know you can’t do it more convincingly, or beautifully, it manages to become more than a song. Anyone who has fallen under its spell (and I’ve met many women and men who endorse it) will understand that this is not over-the-top, at least in any superficial or facile sense.
A while back I wrote at length about that old-fashioned courting ritual and rite of passage called the mix-tape. I wrote “A mixed tape was de rigueur for establishing, assessing and understanding the various levels of any serious romance. The first mix was as important, in its way, as the first kiss: too early and you could blow it; too late and you may have missed an opportunity to send the right signal at the right time.” Well, “Right Down the Line” was not first mix-tape material. It was always, eventually a go-to, but you had to earn that one. Of all of the ones I invoked, Rafferty takes top billing, and “Right Down the Line” is a musical memory that will always hold a sacred place in my heart.
All of which is a roundabout way of saying thank you to Gerry Rafferty. Based on what little I knew, and the accounts I’m reading today, his life was not always a happy one and he fought desperately against demons too many of us are obliged to face. Hopefully even in his most lonely moments when he could not see the light, his heart was less heavy knowing how many lives he had improved with the gift he shared. I sincerely hope, if there is a karmic force and any sort of justice in our universe, he is in a peaceful place where he can feel the enormity of what he achieved, and realize that his life meant a great deal to more people than he could ever have imagined.

‘Glee’ Star Heather Morris Does “Nuthin’ But A G Thang” For Funny Or Die
And who isn’t in need of a gigantic WTF on this chilly Tuesday afternoon in January? Glee’s Heather Morris (aka serial scene-stealer “Brittany Pierce”) utilizes her pro dancing skills and earns some bonus hip hop cred by taking on Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s 1993 jam “Nuthin’ But A G Thang”—albeit in parody form—for a new FunnyOrDie.com video. Watch the clip, which also features Heather’s Glee pals Harry Shum Jr., Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith and Naya River, as well as Colombian Modern Family fox Sofia Vergara (see, we told you this is a total WTF), below.
Hottest rap spit by Morris: “To add to my collection I collect some strands of Naya’s weave to floss my teeth, just creep!”
Classiest moment: Ashley Lendzion slipping Mr. Schu a roofie and cutting off her finger so he can put a ring on it.

The Collaborations Continue with Valentino for the Gap
Every once in a fashion blue moon, a retailer/designer collaboration so great comes along, that it creates a demand impossible for manufacturers to meet. Right now, American shoppers are watching the frenzy unfold at H&M stores, with Lanvin for H&M requiring retailers to beef up security and invest in stiletto-proof barricades. When an ultimate name in luxury partners with an affordably priced retailer, women who normally only drool over the clothes in magazines can actually afford to purchase them. It’s a fashion miracle! And this weekend, it’s happening again in the UK, with Valentino for the GAP launching exclusively in London’s flagship location.
Valentino, the Italian fashion house famous for dressing everyone from Cameron Diaz to Scarlett Johansson in show-stoppingly sexy, slit-up-to-there gowns, is finally debuting its much buzzed about collection of everything from dresses to jackets for the GAP. When news of the collaboration first broke, fashion insiders were left scratching their heads. How would a design house known for glitz and glamour mesh with the everywoman’s go-to spot for jeans and cozy sweaters? It was an unlikely pairing – but like chocolate and peanut butter, it somehow works beautifully.
The collection is the perfect blending of brands, with a signature oversized Valentino bow strategically positioned on a classic GAP-style cargo pant or jean. The leather bolero jackets and parkas in the collection are warm enough to stand up against raw winters in the UK, but stylish enough to bare the Valentino label. The pieces may just be fashionable enough to convert die-hard Valentino glamour girls like Victoria Beckham or Elizabeth Hurley to the dark side known as casual wear!
The Valentino for GAP collection officially launches in London on Saturday, November 27. Here’s hoping some of the luscious designs eventually make their way to GAP stores across the pond. And if not, there’s always eBay!
