Heidi Klum's latest project 'Seriously Funny Kids' is a little like Billy Cosby's 'Kids Say the Darndest Things.' The supermodel turned super-mom's half-hour unscripted series premieres next month and will feature Klum interacting with children and bringing out the hilarious and insightful things they say.
But Klum tells PEOPLE when it comes to her own four kids, she and husband Seal don't think swearing is any laughing matter.
"When we're around the children, we really make a point in our family not to curse or say potty words," she says. "My husband and I try out best to make sure our kids are proper and have good manners."
Klum, who also co-hosts 'Project Runway' with her "other husband" Tim Gunn, admits she still swears from time to time in front of her friends. "I'm not saying I'm a saint by any means," she says. "When I'm with grown-ups and we're out, I curse sometimes and we say some inappropriate things. But when we're at home, (Seal) and I try our best to make sure our children are proper and have good manners."
Klum tries especially hard to steer her oldest daughter Leni, 6, from saying things she shouldn't be saying at her age.
"Leni will sometimes come home and say, 'What the...'" Klum explains. "And I say, 'Leni, 'What the...' isn't a sentence. It's inappropriate and you can't say it."

Heidi Klum Signs a Deal for "Shine" Fragrance
Every celebrity seems to do a fragrance and Heidi Klum is a celebrity who seems to do everything, so news that she'd jump on the celebrity scent bandwagon seems like a given. Indeed, Klum will launch her very own perfume, called "Shine," this September, according to WWD.
The German supermodel, mother of four, TV host, and businesswoman adds the scent to her growing repertoire, while Coty plans to capitalize on the megabrand she's created for herself. Reps for the company pointed to Klum as the whole package -- "she's an entrepreneur; she's a showgirl" -- as well as supermodel and down-to-earth wife and mother all in one.
She's even got experience in the beauty industry, sharing with WWD that for her mandatory internship in Germany (at the tender age of 13!), she worked for the cosmetics company 4711, where her father was the marketing director.
While there are no details yet on the various components of Klum's signature blend, we're betting on a sweet scent for the cheery model.

Tim Gunn Is Heidi Klum's 'Other Husband,' According to Seal
How close are Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum? Really close, if you ask the supermodel's husband, Seal.
"When Seal is on the set he refers to me as Heidi's other husband," Gunn tells Parade.
"And the kids are all adorable. Heidi is a wife and a mother first, and her professional career really comes second, which is not to say that you'd ever notice that, but she really is a family person and cares about her family deeply and dearly. How touching is that? I'm the luckiest man in the world," the 'Project Runway' guru adds of Klum.
Which celebrity does Gunn admire, fashion-wise? "When it comes to people who aren't a kid or who aren't a size two, I think about Helen Mirren, someone whose style I adore and worship."
"[Mirren] knows who she is and she knows what she looks good in, and you can't help but be blown away by her red carpet appearances, as well as her regular day in and day out lifestyle. And I have to say, when she's not on a movie set, Sarah Jessica Parker's personal style is also wonderful," Gunn continues.
He's also a fan of Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett.
"Red carpet land is a very different place, and I don't think of it as being the real world. I'm more interested in how people navigate the real world. Angelina Jolie is another of those people and Cate Blanchett, people who seem to have an innate sense of style and it comes from knowing who they are," he explains.
"In fact, I asked Cate on a red carpet once, 'What do you attribute to the fact that you always seem to be so comfortable and confident in your skin and what you're wearing?' And she said, 'I only listen to my own voice. I'm surrounded by stylists, I respect them, I take in what they are saying to me, but in the end, I have to synthesize all of that and ask myself how I want to present myself.' I thought it doesn't get any better than that," Gunn says.
