With Kanye West set to headline the final night of three-day sold-out music festival Coachella in April, the only question is whether the mercurial rapper/producer/Twitterer will spoil his own big moment.
The talented Kanye is sure to give concertgoers a special treat -- though "special" could signify a mind-bogglingly impressive performance or mind-numbingly immature antics. With 'Ye, you never can tell.
West infamously played the "hit the stage three hours late, blame Pearl Jam" card at summer festival Bonnaroo in 2008, turning thousands of happy hippies into a bitter, trash-throwing mob chanting "Kanye sucks" at 4AM. That said, West has preached good intentions via Twitter lately and made a public show of turning his act around since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and Taylorgate. Here, we peg the odds of how Kanye could botch his Coachella experience.
12 to 1: Verbally scuffles with The Strokes. Mortally wounds Julian Casablanca's pride.

Antonio Cromartie Is Ready To Fight Matt Hasselbeck (On Twitter)
After Jets CB—and America's foremost fertility expert—Antonio Cromartie drew the ire of several players with his comments on the NFL's labor situation, he took to Twitter to explain himself. Or, more accurately, to explain he doesn't have to explain himself to anyone:
I don't give a who about Ray Lewis or @ddockett talking about what I said. There's 10's of thousand ppl who will lose jobs. They taking our healthcare away and for players that have surgery can't even get rehab once March 3rd gets here.
This after Hasselbeck tweeted: "Somebody ask Cromartie if he knows what CBA stands for." So what does Matt Hasselbeck have to say about this? His response is after the jump.
And let me be the first to say: LAME. WEAK. POSTIVELY CUTLER-ESQUE. Come on, Matt. We don't ask much, but if Twitter's going to become the new millenium's version of rap battles, then the least you can do is play along.

Did you miss the part where he said he wanted to smash your face in? And if you're going to question someone's intelligence, it's bad enough to delete the tweet and pretend it didn't happen. It's even worse to act like "oh, it was just a silly joke!" It wasn't. Or, even if it was a joke, it's too late.
As Slim Charles once said in The Wire, "If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie." And as Antonio Cromartie once said in Hard Knocks, "I got Alonzo, who is five. I have, um, Carris who is three. I have my junior which is three. I have a... My daughter, who just turned three, as of yesterday. I have another son named Tyler. He turns three in December. I got another daughter that was born October 16, named London. 'Nother daughter that was born named LeLani, who is, uh, two years old. And I have my newborn, with my wife. Her name is Jersey."
See, Matt? There's ample fodder this Twitter War to escalate until Cromartie brings up your sister-in-law and/or the NFL steps in, but you just ruined it. "No hard feelings"? Pfft. Thanks for nothing, Matt.

Pete Wentz Is Ready to Take His Family on the Road
After years of constant touring with Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz has been, as he puts it, in "Dad land for the last year, year and a half." And he's ready to get back out there on tour with new band Black Cards, especially since he can have the best of both worlds.
"The great thing right now is that my family is very mobile and are able to tour with me. And I think that's the only thing that would've been a hurdle. But the fact they're kind of able to go, I want to be back out there," he says of touring alongside wife Ashlee Simpson and their 2-year-old son Bronx in a chat with PopEater. "And it's really cool to be able to see the world and to do it on a record company's dime, so I'd like to kind of do that and I'd like to show my son the world as well."
The former FOB-er and his Black Cards partner Bebe Rexha kicked off 2011 with the online release of the infectious track 'Dominoes,' and the ambitious rocker hopes that's just the opening salvo in a busy year for his new project.
"[We've] been pushing pretty hard for the spring. Gonna finish I think two songs by the end of the week and hopefully one will be the first single if I have any say in it," he says. "And then the spring and hopefully touring full time and getting back out there and into it."
Wentz spoke to PopEater to promote a charity Twitter race he's participating in as a coach of one of four teams. His team and the three others, helmed by Rev. Run Simmons [of Run-DMC fame], New York Yankee Nick Swisher and tennis superstar Serena Williams, respectively, are competing to get to Dallas for the Super Bowl in a race where all of the teams are fueled by tweets. Both Wentz and Simmons plan to have some fun with the competition.
"My management called me and said that Mercedes Benz was having a tweet competition, they called me and said they wanted me to pick my favorite charity and tweet for a good cause," Simmons says. "I'm like, 'That'll be perfect.' The Lower East Side Service Center is who I chose and I'm excited to get in this. I've been already doing a little bit of playing around with Pete Wentz, sent a couple of tweets at each other, posted some jokes, but I'm excited to be a coach."
Wentz, if he wins, has a chance at owning a part of music history. "We started tweeting back and forth and I'm like, 'Well, I'll bet you this pair of Supras,'" Wentz says. "And he's like, 'What about this pair of Adidas that Run-DMC wore?' I'm like, 'Oh, okay, can't really compete with that.'"

But Wentz is also very excited about his charity, one that he picked in part because of his own experiences of being a father. "My charity is St. Jude's Children Hospital. It's really an important charity to me, especially [since] becoming a dad the past two years of my life now and god forbid my son ever got sick," he says. "It's good people who are doing good things for children and Mercedes already made a donation."
The competition, which begins Feb. 2, is a win-win, especially for the coaches, who get money donated to their favorite charities and get tickets to the Super Bowl for their participation. Not bad. Neither Wentz nor Simmons had any predictions for the game, which Wentz admits might surprise some. "I don't know a whole lot about football, the craziest thing about me," he says. "For the amount that I've been surrounded by football, the last time I really, really, really focused on was the '85 Bears, which is kind of insane to say."

"Taylor is not exactly a loner, but she fares well on her own and will be fine if she doesn't hook up with a guy immediately, " a source close to Swift tells PopEater.
According to several reports, Swift hasn't recovered from the breakup and isn't her usual bubbly self. If anything, she's busy in the studio working on her breakup song. In the past, Swift, 21, has written plenty of songs about ex-boyfriends including Taylor Lautner and John Mayer.
Her relationship with Gyllenhaal, 30, was short but looked promising. After hanging together after a segment of 'Saturday Night Live' in October, the couple began seeing each other in New York, Nashville and London. Although they tried to keep things secret, they were spotted through the end of November in those cities, including a stint in Big Sur, Calif., walking on the beach and nibbling on ice cream cones.
During the Thanksgiving holiday, the couple spent time together in Brooklyn with Jake's sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and her husband, Peter Sarsgaard. After that, Swift and Gyllenhaal flew back to Nashville for a few days where they were seen holding hands, embracing and sipping coffee.
"While people expected them to spend the Christmas holidays together, they were each photographed separately in different cities," says the source. "It looked like things didn't work out."
While Us Magazine reported that the actor dumped the songbird, Swift remains a prolific songwriter more confident about her musical talent than her personal life.
"I was sort of geeky when I was young and didn't really fit in," she told Barbara Walters during a TV interview last year. "I loved poetry and songwriting, and spent hours with my music. It helped fill the void."
Swift, who recently released her album 'Speak Now' could be doing just that about her split with Gyllenhaal. Stay tuned, Jake!
