Nearly one month after entering himself into a rehab facility to treat problems with "alcohol and other issues," David Arquette has checked himself out.
Arquette completed his treatment on Sunday. "He has competed his treatment and has left," his rep tells PEOPLE. Another source told PEOPLE that Arquette is "in great spirits. He's feeling good and he's ready to move forward."
Arquette had checked into rehab at the beginning of January. The actor moved into a live-in rehab facility to address an alcohol problem following a New Year's Eve party at Arquette & Beacher's Madhouse Theater, located at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. According to its website, the venue features a "Flying Midget bartender" and had the "atmosphere of a circus."
A source close to Arquette told TMZ at the time that he was seeking help because it was "the right thing to do for his family." PEOPLE quoted another insider who confirms the star entered rehab for "drinking and depression, not hard drugs."
Courteney Cox came out in support of her estranged husband after his decision. "I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life," the actress told PEOPLE earlier this month. "I love and support him."
Arquette checked himself into an unidentified facility over the holiday weekend following months of erratic behavior that included several revealing conversations with friend and shock jock Howard Stern. Many of the revelations to Stern included intimate details of his love life -- or lack of a love life -- with Cox.

David Arquette Checks Out of Rehab
'New Kid' Jonathan Knight Officially Comes Out
Jonathan Knight was world-famous in the '80s as one of the New Kids on the Block. And he was gay. He just never told his public, until now.
But Tiffany did it first! The word got out, so to speak, during her recent TV interview with Bravo's Andy Cohen. The redhead singer-turned-Syfy actress confirmed that she canoodled with Knight when they were tourmates back in the day, explaining that "[he] became gay later." She soon apologized for the gaffe.
As for Knight, EW.com reports that he has finally, officially come out to New Kids fans, via a message he posted Saturday on a members-only site.
"I have never been outed by anyone but myself! I did so almost twenty years ago. I never knew that I would have to do it all over again publicly just because I reunited with NKOTB!"
He continued, "I have lived my life very openly and have never hidden the fact that I am gay! Apparently the pre requisite to being a gay public figure is to appear on the cover of a magazine with the caption 'I am gay.' I apologize for not doing so if this is what was expected! My belief is that you live your life by example, and not by a caption on a magazine! If there ever has been any confusion about my sexuality, then you are someone that doesn't even know me!"
"I love living my life being open and honest, but at this time I choose not to discuss my private life any further! My fellow band members don't discuss their private lives with their loved ones and I don't feel that just because I am gay, I should have to discuss mine!"
The reunited New Kids on the Block are teaming with the Backstreet Boys for an upcoming summer tour.

Injured Hauritz Ruled out of Series
Nathan Hauritz's World Cup hopes are hanging by a thread following his dislocated right shoulder at Hobart and he faces a nervous few weeks before finding out whether he'll make the global one-day tournament. However, there was better news for Shaun Tait who has been cleared of serious injury but Mitchell Johnson won't be available for the third ODI against England at the SCG.
Hauritz was helped off the field in severe pain and underwent further scans on Saturday. They revealed 'moderate damage' to his shoulder and surgery hasn't been ruled out as an option for the offspinner who was Australia's one frontline spinner in their World Cup squad.
"Nathan had scans this afternoon following his shoulder dislocation yesterday," Cricket Australia physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said. "They have demonstrated moderate disruption of the supportive structures at the shoulder. We will now seek a specialist opinion to determine the next course of action.
"The treatment options include both conservative and surgical management. It is likely he will be unavailable for the remainder of the Commonwealth Bank Series and his availability for the World Cup will be determined in the coming weeks."
Xavier Doherty, the left-arm spinner, had already been called up to Australia's squad for the next two matches against England and would replace Hauritz at the World Cup. At least the hosts have had good news regarding Tait after he left the field five balls into his sixth over at Hobart with pain in his thigh. He hasn't yet been ruled out of Sunday's match at the SCG although it would be a major risk to play him.
"Shaun complained of some left upper thigh pain," Kountouris said. "As a precaution he was advised to stop bowling and leave the field. He had scans this afternoon which have cleared him of any new and significant damage. He will be assessed over the next 12 hours to determine his management and availability for tomorrow's match and the remainder of this series."
Johnson, meanwhile, has recovered from the throat infection which kept him out of the Hobart match but the medical staff don't feel he has had enough time to prepare for Sunday's clash. Peter Siddle, overlooked for the World Cup, has been added to the squad and will link up after playing Saturday's Big Bash match against New South Wales at the MCG.

Jason Taylor Out; Brad Smith In
Jason Taylor did not practice on Wednesday due to a concussion but he has been cleared by doctors to play in the AFC Championship Game, according to New York Jets coach Rex Ryan.
Taylor suffered the concussion sometime during the Jets' win over the Patriots and began to feel the effects of the injury sometime Sunday night.
"He's been cleared," Ryan said. "But he has passed the test so we are ready to roll."
The Jets held Taylor out of practice as a precaution.
The Jets face the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday for the AFC title at Heinz Field, a rematch of their Dec. 19 game -- a 22-17 Jets win. It will be another homecoming game for Taylor, who grew up in Pittsburgh.
Brad Smith, the Jets' multipurpose weapon who missed last week because of a groin injury, participated in practice. He practiced last week, too, albeit on a limited basis, but was declared inactive on Sunday.
Smith said after the Patriots game he expected to play against the Steelers, but he seemed to be running somewhat tentatively Wednesday in wide receiver drills. Without Smith, the Jets can't use their Wildcat package. He was replaced as a kickoff returner by Antonio Cromartie, who filled in nicely.
The Jets' practice had a Pittsburgh feel to it. The speakers alongside the field blasted the old Styx standard, "Renegade." That's a traditional favorite at Heinz Field, where the PA system blasts the hard-rocking tune to fire up the defense.
Wide receiver Braylon Edwards, who played in several games in Pittsburgh as a former member of the Cleveland Browns, warned his teammates during last month's game to raise their intensity when that song was blared.
"Usually, they scare a lot of teams with that gimmick," Edwards said after the game.
It didn't bother the Jets. They marched 66 yards, scoring on Mark Sanchez's 7-yard bootleg on fourth down.
"Our renegade drive," Edwards called it.

Report: Christina Aguilera Passes Out at Jeremy Renner's Birthday
Christina Aguilera may be one 'Beautiful' singer, but at a recent party, her behavior was anything but.
According to Us Weekly, the songstress over-imbibed at 'The Hurt Locker' star Jeremy Renner's 40th birthday party and gave him a rather unwelcome surprise.
When Renner, who was hosting a number of celebrity guests as well as family members, went upstairs to his bedroom, he found the 'Burlesque' star taking a load off in his bed.
According to a source, Renner regaled friends at the Golden Globes with the story, saying, "I run up and open the door and I'm like, 'Um, hi. What are you doing?' She just starts slurring. Her boyfriend was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone's birthday party that they don't know and gets in their bed? My parents were there!"
Another source said of the singer's behavior, "She acted like a fool. Her boyfriend was shushing her and telling her to go to sleep," calling Aguilera "a mess."
Renner's rep says of the incident, "[Christina] was enjoying herself, but she wasn't in his bed."

Swann Out for Two Weeks with Knee Injury
Graeme Swann will be out of action for up to two weeks after picking up a knee injury against Australia. He sustained the problem during the first Twenty20 in Adelaide and played on over the weekend in Melbourne but was forced to leave the field during the first one-day international.
"He's got a slightly strangely formed knee cap on his left knee," Andy Flower, the England team director, said. "He got hit and it is badly bruised and quite painful so he won't be playing in the next game and might have to rest for 10 days to two weeks."
Swann was the pick of England's bowlers at the MCG taking 1 for 42 from his 10 overs as the visitors failed to defend 295 with Shane Watson hitting an unbeaten 161. His absence will be a major blow for England, who are already without James Anderson and Stuart Broad, as they aim to level the series because their one-day cricket is heavily based around the duel spin attack of Swann and Michael Yardy. Although, in the long run, a short break for the No. 1 spinner in the world may not be the worst thing after the exertions of the Ashes series.
If England decide to retain two spinners in Hobart it will mean a chance for James Tredwell, the Kent offspinner, to add to his two ODI caps. Whoever makes up the bowling attack will have to come up with a way of stopping Watson who finally converted his consistent form into a matchwinning innings in Melbourne.
"The standout performance was Watson, who played an incredible innings," Flower said. "I thought we had periods of some very good cricket and then the odd occasion where we let slip the advantage and the momentum we had gained in the game. That's both with bat and ball. Early wickets are always important in 50-over cricket and that's what we will be aiming for."
In the absence of Anderson and Broad, the pace attack is light on experience with a lot of pressure on Tim Bresnan who went for 71 at the MCG. Anderson is due back in Australia at the weekend when the tour moves to Sydney and will be available for selection for Adelaide on January 26. Broad, who has been out of action since the second Ashes Test with a stomach injury, is flying back with Anderson but isn't expected to take part in the series.
"We don't anticipate Broad playing in this series," Flower said. "It would be a surprise if he got up to speed in time to do that but it's better for him to be out here with us rather than in the middle of an English winter back home."

Jenn Sterger Coming Out for March Madness
Jenn Sterger's finally ready to go public ... as in, rescheduling the public appearance she abruptly pulled out of -- and promised to rebook -- when the Brett Favre sexting scandal first broke.
TMZ has learned Jenn will be hosting a March Madness party at the grand opening of Public House in Chicago on March 17.
Jenn's been laying way low since Brett's alleged penis pics started popping up on the Internet in October -- prompting her to back out of a Chicago bar event with the same people marketing the NCAA hoops party.
We're told Jenn will pose for pics and sign autographs -- and she's donating her appearance fee to Project Sunshine.

Natalie Portman Is Still Figuring Out Her Prego Style
Once Natalie Portman made the announcement last month that she is expecting fiance Benjamin Millepied's baby, everyone went on high alert, watching for her baby bump. But Natalie has been careful about keeping her bump to herself, dressing in shapeless shifts that style experts either love or hate.
"So far, she seems to be dressing for red carpet events in slightly looser clothing, rather than accentuate her growing bump in tight dresses," says Fashionista Senior Editor Leah Chernikoff. "But Portman's far too stylish to just throw on a shapeless sack or tent dress and call it a day. She's chosen appropriately modest dresses that still show off those 'Black Swan'-trained gams and arms: a blue ruffled Jason Wu to the People's Choice Awards on the 5th and a mod-ish Vionnet with a gold sequined collar to the 2011 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala."
Celebrity stylist June Ambrose thinks that Portman is still getting used to her new body and that we might see more daring bump styles down the road.
"It seems like she still wants to keep the cat in the bag," Ambrose says. "But even the baggy look can't hide this blossoming tummy, especially with her petite frame! First time mommies are always modest. We need to give her some time to get fashionably acclimated to her new nonballerina body."
Portman should make the most of the benefits of pregnancy, one of which is an amazing head of hair. But so far the 'Black Swan' actress has been conservative with her locks as well as her belly, opting for simple buns and ponies on the red carpet.
"While few women actually experience that elusive pregnancy 'glow,' a universal truth is that hair is at its healthiest and most gorgeous during these nine months," says Jackie Cascarano, creative director of luxury hair retailer Lock & Mane. "Pregnancy hormones temporarily prevent hair from shedding, leaving you with a full head of thick and glorious locks. Natalie should revel in the nine months of great hair by pampering herself with blowouts, deep conditioning treatments and ultra feminine accessories, like headbands and bobbies."
Portman's prego style right now is perfectly fine, but we all want to see just a little more fun, especially as awards season heats up. Tack on some tighter frocks and let your hair down, Nat. What good is a famous baby bump if you don't let it have its red carpet moment?
