Aaron Carter's latest rehab stint is done.
The former teen star and "Dancing With the Stars" alum, 23, has successfully completed a month at the Betty Ford Center, his rep confirmed to E! News late Thursday.
Carter had entered the famous facility to "heal some emotional and spiritual issues he was dealing with," his rep told UsMagazine.com last month.
Why Betty Ford, where Lindsay Lohan and other stars have stayed? As Carter's rep explained to E!, it's "a facility where he feels he will get the guidance and cleansing he needs that will help him on the music journey he's about to take."
And now, back in his native Florida, he'll be focusing on making a new album. His last full-length release was 2002's "Another Earthquake." Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, hit it big with his 2000 album "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)." He's also been romantically linked to Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff.

Mario Lopez: I Cheated on Ex Ali Landry Days Before Wedding
Back in April 2004, longtime loves Mario Lopez and model/actress Ali Landry tied the knot -- only to annul the union two weeks later, amid rumors of Lopez's rampant cheating.
Now, almost seven years later, Lopez fessed up to at least one major indiscretion that took place during a wild bachelor party weekend in Mexico.
Lopez, 37, spilled the beans to Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show on Thursday. "It was my bachelor party," the "Extra" host admitted, explaining that he had been "bouncing around" Mexico with his cousins. "I had no business of being in that position," he said, offering that he "messed around" with another woman.
He elaborated a bit on the fling. "It was spring break ... everybody was hanging out. That was a situation where I was not mature and man enough."
Before heading out for his big weekend, Lopez didn't tell then-fiancee Landry the whole truth. "I said I was going to Cabo ... to go marlin fishing," he explained. "Then my cousin surprised me and said, 'No, ... we're going on this whirlwind tour: Cabo, Acapulco, all these places.'"
Rather than telling Landry about the change of plans, "I figured at that point it was easier to ask for forgiveness [afterward]. It's my bachelor party, we were going to have a good time. And we went, we had a good time."
Lopez was caught in an incriminating poolside shot with another woman. "We're partying, and somebody took a picture," he explained. Landry's sister eventually got a hold of that photo and shared it with her.
"I was wrong for obviously lying, and I shouldn't have been in that position," Lopez said.
Finally, Landry confronted him. "I dealt with all this drama, and then at that point just realized ... I finally got the balls to say, 'Hey, listen I'm not ready for this, I'm sorry.'"
"At that point," the star confessed, "I was not ready to settle down. I wasn't man enough to know how to go about handling it."
Why did Lopez marry her in the first place, then? "I think when you go out for a few years you either take it to another level or you break up, right?" he said of Landry, whom he had been dating for six years. "There was nothing glaringly wrong on paper: I thought, 'She's beautiful, she's a good girl, she comes from a great family, she'd make a great mom. ... I confused cold feet with not being ready."

"There's another one on the way-and it's a girl!" London's Daily Mirror declared earlier this week. The actress "has sourced the next addition to her ever-expanding rainbow brood from an orphanage in Haiti," the tabloid said, and "it was love at first sight" when Jolie visited the earthquake-ravaged country.
The specifics -- that Jolie and boyfriend Brad Pitt would adopt the 4-year-old, named Leah, who lost her family in the disaster, started appearing on other newspaper websites. "Angelina Jolie to adopt from Haiti," blared a headline in the Times of Johannesburg. "Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt to adopt Haitian child named Leah," said the U.S. site Examiner.com.
But the stories are flat wrong.
Jolie made that clear in an exclusive statement to The Daily Beast.
"Earlier this week, the Daily Mirror U.K. and others reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the process of adopting a child from Haiti," says the statement provided by Adam Waldman of Washington's Endeavor Group, who represents her. "There is no truth to these rumors.
"Rather, Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti. As such, she has been meeting with government of Haiti officials, Haitian legal experts and non-governmental organizations regarding a new initiative of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The recently launched Jolie Legal Fellows Program will assist the justice system in Haiti to improve child protection."
Not only that, but Jolie never even met the Haitian girl named Leah, according to Waldman.
"There is no truth to these rumors," the statement says. "Rather, Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti."

Spanish-Language Radio Drama Tackles Gay Issues
A Spanish-language radio drama is aiming to break the silence surrounding homosexuality and its acceptance in California's rural communities, where thousands of agricultural workers toil in fields while listening to the radio.
The radionovela, "Bienvenidos a Casa," or "Welcome Home," which premiered Friday across the Central Valley, tells the story of Carlos, a Latino teen who is rejected by his friends and family for being gay then finds acceptance with his mother and neighbors.
The show will air for nearly two months on Radio Bilingue, a national Spanish-language radio network headquartered in Fresno. A gay-rights group is working to air the series nationally.
Activists say it's the first time information about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues is reaching rural Latino farmworker communities in a language and format that's accessible.
The three-episode radionovela, developed in collaboration with San Francisco State University and California Rural Legal Assistance, was based on input from community focus groups and performed by community volunteers.
Many Latinos grew up listening to radionovelas, which in some parts of Latin America are more popular than television and have inspired the creation of telenovelas — TV soap operas. The radio dramas depict life's struggles through recurring characters and themes. In recent years, short radionovelas have become an increasingly popular way to raise awareness of various issues among Latino audiences in the U.S.
"People identify with the characters," said Delia Saldivar, the Radio Bilingue station manager who helped develop the program about gay Latinos.
Some mainstream Latino media ridicule people with different sexual orientations, Saldivar said, creating a need for positive stories.
Saldivar teamed up with California Rural Legal Assistance's Proyecto Poderoso, or Project Powerful, to engage California's hard-to-reach rural Latinos. For the past three years, Proyecto Poderoso has provided legal services to gay, bisexual and transgender individuals in farmworker communities.
Program manager Dan Torres said the project has helped Latinos who were ridiculed, beaten or even fired from their jobs because of their sexual orientation. It also has shown the lack of resources, information and awareness about such issues in farmworker communities, where the fear of coming out is so much more intense, he said.
"These are small towns and people fear that they will experience discrimination, that their kids will be harassed," Torres said.
The "Welcome Home" story line was guided by research conducted by San Francisco State University's Family Acceptance Project and published in the January 2009 issue of Pedriatrics.
The research found that higher rates of family rejection were significantly associated with poorer health outcomes among white and Latino lesbian, gay, and bisexual young adults.
A young person who experiences high levels of rejection is more likely to attempt suicide, use illegal substances, or engage in risky behavior for HIV. The research also found that Latino men reported the highest number of negative family reactions to their sexual orientation in adolescence.
Jorge Sanchez, a researcher with the Family Acceptance Project, said cultural issues make homosexuality a difficult topic among Latino families and communities.
"For Latinos, it's an open secret," Sanchez said. "There is silence about family issues, and that silence helps protect family harmony."
Latinos, especially in California, have a clear sense of discrimination, and they fear that children who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender may face more of it, Sanchez said.
"They say, I put up with enough hardship, I want my child to have an easier life; that's why we came to this country," Sanchez said.
Many Latino families change their behavior once they understand how rejection can harm their children, he said.
"Welcome Home" shows the possible negative impacts of rejection as well as the impacts of acceptance. Carlos is beaten up by friends for being gay, and he isolates himself from the family that rejects him. His mother's eventual acceptance and support help him come to terms with himself.
The radionovela also features a positive, loving relationship between two men, who live together and are respected and accepted by their families and communities.
Joseph Belmont, a Monterey, Calif., tutor, said he experienced ridicule and violence growing up in the rural town of Santa Maria.
"I had to go through a lot of self-destruction before my family tried to help and accepted me," he said. "I choose to speak about my sexuality now. I love my family and am grateful for the progress we made."

The three-episode radionovela, developed in collaboration with San Francisco State University and California Rural Legal Assistance, was based on input from community focus groups and performed by community volunteers.
Many Latinos grew up listening to radionovelas, which in some parts of Latin America are more popular than television and have inspired the creation of telenovelas — TV soap operas. The radio dramas depict life's struggles through recurring characters and themes. In recent years, short radionovelas have become an increasingly popular way to raise awareness of various issues among Latino audiences in the U.S.
"People identify with the characters," said Delia Saldivar, the Radio Bilingue station manager who helped develop the program about gay Latinos.
Some mainstream Latino media ridicule people with different sexual orientations, Saldivar said, creating a need for positive stories.
Saldivar teamed up with California Rural Legal Assistance's Proyecto Poderoso, or Project Powerful, to engage California's hard-to-reach rural Latinos. For the past three years, Proyecto Poderoso has provided legal services to gay, bisexual and transgender individuals in farmworker communities.
Program manager Dan Torres said the project has helped Latinos who were ridiculed, beaten or even fired from their jobs because of their sexual orientation. It also has shown the lack of resources, information and awareness about such issues in farmworker communities, where the fear of coming out is so much more intense, he said.
"These are small towns and people fear that they will experience discrimination, that their kids will be harassed," Torres said.
The "Welcome Home" story line was guided by research conducted by San Francisco State University's Family Acceptance Project and published in the January 2009 issue of Pedriatrics.
The research found that higher rates of family rejection were significantly associated with poorer health outcomes among white and Latino lesbian, gay, and bisexual young adults.
A young person who experiences high levels of rejection is more likely to attempt suicide, use illegal substances, or engage in risky behavior for HIV. The research also found that Latino men reported the highest number of negative family reactions to their sexual orientation in adolescence.
Jorge Sanchez, a researcher with the Family Acceptance Project, said cultural issues make homosexuality a difficult topic among Latino families and communities.
"For Latinos, it's an open secret," Sanchez said. "There is silence about family issues, and that silence helps protect family harmony."
Latinos, especially in California, have a clear sense of discrimination, and they fear that children who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender may face more of it, Sanchez said.
"They say, I put up with enough hardship, I want my child to have an easier life; that's why we came to this country," Sanchez said.
Many Latino families change their behavior once they understand how rejection can harm their children, he said.
"Welcome Home" shows the possible negative impacts of rejection as well as the impacts of acceptance. Carlos is beaten up by friends for being gay, and he isolates himself from the family that rejects him. His mother's eventual acceptance and support help him come to terms with himself.
The radionovela also features a positive, loving relationship between two men, who live together and are respected and accepted by their families and communities.
Joseph Belmont, a Monterey, Calif., tutor, said he experienced ridicule and violence growing up in the rural town of Santa Maria.
"I had to go through a lot of self-destruction before my family tried to help and accepted me," he said. "I choose to speak about my sexuality now. I love my family and am grateful for the progress we made."

Since Elton John gave Billy Joel some "tough love" and called him out as an alcoholic in a Rolling Stone interview, the two iconic musicians have been back and forth against each other in the media.
Elton said he knew his longtime friend would "hate him" for it, but he was quite outspoken about the piano man needing to "do something better" with his life and enter into a real rehab program for his "alcoholism."
"At the end of the day, he's coasting," Elton said of his former touring partner. Billy had to cancel several concerts due to illness, which Elton attributed to his drinking problem. Friday afternoon Lilo took to her Twitter page to express some well-wishes for everyone in Egypt. "Congratulations to the people of Egypt," she wrote. "Your voices were heard and you proved that peaceful demonstrations are possible and effective..."
The 'Mean Girls' star added, "And I pray Egypt maintains it's treaty with Israel and sets the trend for its neighbors to create peace with Israel and the entire region."
Many in the Twitterverse were quick to jump on the starlet, who was charged with felony grand theft Wednesday in court. The 'Frasier' star's daughter confirmed her engagement to boyfriend James Hesgeth last month. Kelsey's rep now confirms to PEOPLE that his little girl did indeed wed her fiance Friday at City Hall in New York City on Friday. Kelsey and his new fiance, 29-year-old Kayte Walsh, were in attendance.
Spencer is the star of ABC Family's 'Greek' and is Kelsey's daughter from his first marriage to Doreen Alderman. The actress lives in New York, where she's currently attending college.

How did this book come about?

He was a friend first before anything and that just made it all the better. I liked him as a friend for a very long time prior. He was the kind of guy I always wanted. He was independent, what he liked in sports, being at the gym, being social.
Do you think you two will get married?
We've only been dating nearly seven months. He would be somebody I would look toward marrying, but it really hasn't come up. He's very career oriented and so am I. I never pictured myself marrying anyone. He's older, and he's never had a long term girlfriend. He's never pictured himself marrying anyone, but we both said to each other if it was to be somebody it would be to each other.
So if he proposes on Valentine's Day you're not going to say no.

One of the craziest moments of the current 'Shore' season is when your ex took your hard drive.
I did get it back a few months later. Right now it's unrepairable. Right before I left [for] 'Jersey Shore 3,' my Mac was acting a little funny, so I backed up my hard drive. It had my whole life on it. All my photos, my school work of seven years, and then I took everything off my Mac. So basically my life before 'Jersey Shore,' everything was on it.
Back to the book. What is your main rule?
My number one rule is never settle. I feel like the moment you settle, you're setting yourself up for disaster. You're really making it known that that is what you want, and that's what you get. Really make yourself ready if you're not ready for a relationship, if you're not secure in your own life, how can you be with somebody else and give them what they need?
What's your definition of a man-whore?
Basically what you want to avoid at a club and quote, unquote any situation. You really want to avoid any guy who is not looking to be serious. This book is light hearted and fun, but it's also to help a girl find a guy. You want to avoid guys who want to date or looking at you for all the wrong reasons.
You say for guys, monogamy equals monotony. How do you mix it up?
It really comes down to timing. If you're in a girl who's in her early 20's and you're trying to find a guy around the same age, although now that I'm saying that, guys at any age are afraid of being tied down and they think that's it for them, so you really got to make it fun and fun for yourself. No one wants to be in a boring relationship and where either party can't have fun with their friends, so give them that freedom. Guys that know their girlfriends don't mind them going out with their friends and having guy time, that's like a big rule, I feel like in dating. I feel like guys who are in a relationship and feel like they can't go out with their friends anymore, that's setting yourself up for disaster.
Another rule is don't smush too soon.
Being in a house with four guys that take girls home and stuff. These are girls they will not take home to their mother, and if you are really interested in one of my roommates or interested in any guy in particular, a big red flag for a guy is if you're easy to get with.
